Armstrong Partnership

As the Creative Director at Armstrong Partnership Ltd., I recently had the pleasure of working with Murali Murthy. As a promotional agency, we were invited to pitch on a piece of new business that included the launch of a new product.
Murali made significant contributions in the brainstorm sessions that gave birth to our pitch concepts. We worked together to develop three distinct solutions for the prospective client. These three different approaches gave the pitch the desired breadth while remaining on target.

Not only was he able to conceptualize and offer solid consumer and trade copy, but he helped greatly with his written rationale for the sell-in. Working and interacting with Murali was very enjoyable. He is attentive and committed to solving problems. His professional approach to the creative writing we required resulted in our agency winning the business, and for that we are grateful.

I am writing this in the hope that you will have an opportunity to experience Murali's talent first hand as I did. His drive and experience combine to deliver not only a high quality product but also strong working relationships. I would not hesitate to recommend him for a position with your company in either a full-time or contract capacity and am confident that he will offer immediate value to you and your team. Should you have any questions or concerns, please do not hesitate to contact me.

I write this letter of reference for Murali R. Murthy with pleasure. Murali is a talented copywriter with a lot of potential. He would be a definite asset to any creative department.

Murali was hired here to work on one of our larger US accounts. The timeline was extremely tight and the task was to create a new integrated multimedia campaign. Murali was able to quickly comprehend the strategy and began conceptualizing ideas within his first hour of his being here. His commitment was obvious as he worked most evenings and didn’t give up until he felt he had done his best job.

Murali worked with a variety of people in every department and was very well liked by all. He knows how to work as a team player and treats each individual with incredible respect no matter what stresses are involved. Murali has a great passion for the business and proves that with his drive to deliver strategically strong, innovative and compelling ideas. A combination that sometimes is hard to find.

Murali was responsible for driving award winning strategic creative direction for many of our clients. Murali has a passion for what he does and it can certainly be seen in the work he produces. In addition, he is extremely organized, reliable and in tune with current industry standards and trends. He can work independently or as part of a team and is able to follow through to ensure that the job gets done.

Murali would be a tremendous asset for your company and has my highest recommendation. If you have any further questions with regard to his background or qualifications, please do not hesitate to call me.

Over the last 3 years I have commissioned Murali Murthy's services on numerous occasions on both mainstream and multicultural projects and I can say without reservation that it has been my great pleasure and privilege to have worked with him.

One of the main reasons I enjoy working with Murali is that he brings a tremendous positive energy to every assignment. He is a passionate problem solver who loves the business and is never fazed by its challenges.

He is an accomplished writer in at least 4 languages (I suspect there are other languages and abilities hidden in him). While a prodigious writer with a great facility for words as the tools of his trade, Murali also adds strategic weight to any team. He absorbs the brief and internalizes it, and then expends his energy in exactly the kind of combustion that produces a truly creative solution.

Murali's talents and skills have not made him a prima donna. Far from it. He is easy to work with and extremely pleasant company. When he has been paired with very junior creative partners he has proved to be a gentle, generous guide and mentor.

I have used Murali's skills to create content for websites, headlines for ads, copy for brochures and even slogans on the side of promotional giveaways. He participates in strategy sessions with me routinely, and I consider him a valued member of my multicultural creative advisory team.

Murali is co-Chair of CAMP - Communication Advertising and Marketing Professionals - a forum where immigrants in the business reach out to others and help each other integrate into the Canadian job market.

Murali will shine wherever he goes - it is one reason his ex-employers and colleagues are still in touch with him. I am happy to offer a personal reference for Murali should one be required.
